Michelle Fuentes, Ph.D., believes deeply in the transformative power of boarding schools to support students both in and beyond the classroom. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in political science from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!).

Originally from Southern California, Michelle taught at Culver Academies for 10 years before joining the Humanities Department at Miss Porter’s. She lives in the dorm with her dog Mrs. Mosby, cat Alphie – and also in Connecticut but not living on campus is her horse Picasso.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys walking her pets, crafting, and reading.
